Improve The News

As a Video Producer and Researcher, I’ve led the creative production of dozens of editorial videos that bring complex global stories to life. From political investigations to AI ethics, my role bridges research, scripting, and visual storytelling to make the news more engaging and less polarized.

As AI has reshaped our world and the media landscape, I’ve helped ITN explain this transformation into accessible, visual narratives. Our AI-focused explainers explored both the promise and the peril, from synthetic media, chatbots, and deepfakes to the rise of autonomous weapons.

In addition to my work with ITN, I have supported projects for the Future of Life Institute, translating complex AI policy topics into clear, visual stories. My work has focused on explaining legislation such as California’s AI Safety Bill (SB 1047) and regulatory efforts shaping the future of artificial intelligence. From researching technical material to scripting and producing, I bridge the gap between policy, public understanding, and visual storytelling. My goal is to make nuanced, high-stakes issues accessible and help influence conversations to shape the future of technology governance.

The Epstein Scandal: Power, Corruption, and the Truth

When approaching The Epstein Scandal, the goal wasn’t to sensationalize; it was to clarify. I developed the narrative structure and visual identity for a video that unpacked decades of allegations, cover-ups, and political ties from Wall Street to the White House.

  • Designed a political thriller–style visual tone using archival footage, parallax imagery, and motion typography.

  • Condensed over 40 years of reporting into a cohesive, fact-driven timeline narrated with journalistic precision.

  • Integrated AI-enhanced restoration tools (Topaz, Runway) to upscale rare footage and redacted documents for visual continuity.

The result: a fast-paced explainer that blends cinematic storytelling with investigative depth, and became one of ITN’s most discussed pieces.

Gerrymandering: How Democracy Gets Divided

For our deep-dive on Gerrymandering, I created a visual journey through the invisible lines that shape American democracy. This project demanded both educational clarity and emotional resonance, turning political cartography into human consequence.

  • Developed the story arc and editorial pacing, opening with personal stakes and then zooming out to national implications.

  • Built dynamic map animations and district redraw sequences for clean data visualization.

Overall, working with Improve the News has reinforced my belief that great storytelling isn’t just about visuals; it’s about clarity. In an era of noise and misinformation, my goal is to make complex stories not just watchable, but understandable.
